I have taken multiple paint courses in my educational career. The first was a Basic Drawing/Painting course in high school I took for college credit. I also took Painting courses at Ocean County College and Stockton University.
My experience in working with paint has allowed me to understand how to mix colors, how to properly prepare for painting (priming, sanding), how to recreate what I am observing using paint, understanding relative size and perspective, shadows and highlights, and overall how to create a piece effectively using different paints (acrylic, gouache, oil, watercolor, etc).
