Below are prints, monotypes, stencils, collages, and mixed media pieces I have created over the years, either in my printmaking class.

My first Printmaking course was at Stockton University in Spring 2021. I never worked with printmaking prior to this course, so I was very excited to get started. I worked with monotype, frottage, linocut, mixed media, and collaging in this course. I also printed t-shirts using my linocuts.

At Stockton, I took an independent study course in which I came up with an idea and brought it to life using printmaking strategies. The idea was a book to propose for workshops to teach children about famous buildings and structures. The last images in the gallery showcase this project. This project involved making an accordion book featuring linocut prints I made of the buildings and structures, along with creating stencils using a laser cutter, and stamps created by carving out stamp blocks for children to add to the corresponding pages. The book also has index cards with information on the back in envelopes, along with the stencils and stamps. The titles created were created using Photoshop and the laser cutter. I also created a lesson plan to implement for this workshop.

Printmaking has shown me that so much can be done with just one stencil or linocut. It allowed me to trust the process and challenge my perfectionism. I also used digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to aid me in planning design ideas and text. Printmaking is a wonderful form of art because it combines so many different mediums and allows for fluidity and complexity in creating something.
