I began making sculptures in my Intro to 3D design class at Stockton University in Spring 2021. I worked with armature wire, cardboard, and clay to make 3D objects. I began making sculptures out of other materials in my Sculpture class at Stockton University in Fall 2021. In this class, I created projects utilizing different craft materials like pipe cleaners, foam core, craft paper, plaster wrap, plaster, sytrofoam, paints, glitter, and crushed glass.
Through creating my sculptures, I am able to turn my ideas into creations in a dynamic and functional way. Sculpture allows me the opportunity to create freestanding, large, and lifelike designs that have different views and perspectives from every angle. Sculpture has allowed me to trust the process and to practice patience and appreciate use of space.
